I have been a carer for 14 years something I have always loved doing. I have now started a degree in medicine, which switched into from a degree in to nursing, so am continuously working to improve my knowledge and skills.
I started in care because of my grandmother, whom I looked after for a very long time. Having had that experience, I wanted to make use of what I had learnt, so threw myself into care full time. I love caring for the elderly, but also for younger people and children with disabilities. I pride myself on being able to handle difficult situations and difficult people on a 1 to 1 basis, as well as my ability to connect and communicate with them and their families. I make sure to take notes diligently and communicate them clearly to everyone else involved in delivering the care.
I love to cook and I enjoy learning new dishes and styles of cooking, although try as I might, my baking still needs work.
So, if you are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable carer, who has a degree in human and medical science and has studied both nursing and medicine, I am the carer for you forward hearing from you.
I have been working as a carer for 10 years, both in the home and in complex care settings, so there really is nothing I have not seen before. I have done all of the courses many times over.
I love working within the community, having direct contact and being able to build a relationship with my clients is something I really value, it also enables me to provide better care for them. I set out to make the lives of my clients better, so I go beyond just doing the work, I love sitting down with people for a chat too.
I love to cook, both for my family and friends. I also enjoy travelling around Europe and other countrys and taking part in all of the different cultures there.
I am sure that we will find something interesting to talk about. Please do get in touch.

I am a happy person who loves to bring smiles and sunshine into other people’s lives by applying my common sense in the discharge of my professional duties. This I achieve, largely due to my ability to communicate effectively with my patients and their families.

Committed to giving quality care delivered with a humble approach and integrity; I also have a philosophical and calm approach to life. I am a good communicator who takes the rough with the smooth. I have been a qualified carer for 5 years now, working mainly with the elderly, but also with younger disabled patients, providing them with personal care and companionship. I am highly qualified, I have a Level3 NVQ, the highest care focused qualification in the industry, and am fully up to date on all my other training.
I love helping clients to live a fulfilling life, no matter their condition. I strive to make all of my patients smile everyday, no matter what their state of mind, nor their level of pain. In this I like to encourage independence, and where possible, I promote patient led health improvement, through appropriate exercise and healthy eating. I love to cook and I am dedicated to my young son, who is now in nursery (as a result I now enjoy Paw Patrol).
I also genuinely enjoy housework, it gives me great satisfaction to create an environment that I, and my patients, can be happy and healthy in.
I enjoy helping people, that is what makes my day. Let me make your day.
I have been disability carer for last 2 years, and in the time, I have learnt a huge amount about both how to care for, but also how to interact with others. Building a strong connection with someone over a short amount of time is something I pride myself on.
Having run businesses in the past, as well as through my care work, I am also a strong communicator and problem solver, no matter what the situation I will get to the bottom of it.
I love music, all the greats and the not so greats too, do get in touch.
I have been a carer for over a decade (13 years), working with both the elderly and young disable people. I have a level 3 qualification in caring for people with Learning Disabilities, which is equivalent to an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, I am currently studying towards an NVQ 3. Having worked with some of the toughest cases around, I feel well equipped to care for just about any one, no matter their disability or behavioral difficulties.
I have a huge amount of compassion for people struggling with activities that allow them to enjoy life, and I love to help them change that. I believe in 'proactively' managing my clients health, I encourage them to seek the right advice and support to help them achieve a long and happy life.
I am a good cook, I love to cook for the family. I go to church, where I sing, although I sing all day long anyway. I also enjoy reading spiritual authors, like 'Paolo Cuneo', but mainly by pastors and I attend conferences. As a treat, I love taking clients to exciting places, even if it is just the local cinema.
I hope we can meet soon.
I am registered Nurse from St.Lucia that is currently working on registering as a Nurse in the UK.
I have always had a passion for Medicine as far as i can remember which can go back to be helping out my Father who was a Doctor in his office. When i was 12 I broke my ankle and i felt like the Nurses made a bigger difference than the Doctors, so that inspired me to be a Nurse. I learned that Nursing is an Art form that means one must care for the patient, holistically, systematically within a cost effective to the patient and timely.
So i can honestly say caring for people has brought me a lot of joy and I hope to extend that joy to what ever person I am fortunate enough to care for.
I have two years experience of live in care work which was three to four days a week.
My duties were assisting in washing and dressing. Preparing and providing meals. Assisting to the toilet. Reporting and monitoring for redness or breaks on the skin. Assist with medication. Liasing with the pharmacist, GP and district nurses. Accompany to hospital appointments, trips to the shops and coffee shops. Carried out household duties, laundry and ironing. Maintaining a clean safe house.
I have been working as a carer for the past 2 years. I have spent most of my time working within the community, helping the elderly with many different issues from dementia and learning disabilities to helping them to live independently.
I love knowing that, at the end of the day, I have helped someone, and it makes me feel needed. I enjoy the feeling that I get whilst working with my clients of family and attachment, as a result I treat my patients as I would treat my family, so do my best to care for them.
I love the outdoors, going for walks in the countryside. There is a great bowling lane in my area and I love going there to show off my skills, especially when my family can join me. I enjoy romantic fiction and thrillers, especially those by Jacqueline Wilson. I also have an active social life, my friends and I enjoy shopping and travelling, where we can. I hope that I have managed to get across how professional and caring I am, if you have any questions, please do ask.
I am sure that we will find something interesting to talk about. Please do get in touch.
I have vast experience in the care industry; working in care homes with high need clients and day centers for service users with dementia as well as providing respite care. This range of experience has given me an excellent understanding of all aspects of personal care and a lot of skills to draw upon.
I am happy to perform all standard care duties in and around the home, assisting with mobility, soft exercise, walks, prompting medication and more. I also like to encourage my clients to live as individuals; encouraging independence through interaction, communication, motivation and activities. I am happy to cook meals, do shopping and prepare my client\'s care plan.
I love singing and encourage my clients to sing with me. I believe it\'s very therapeutic.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
